There is more than 600 kms of walks and footpaths listed in the network that may be followed with the GPS.
Alta Valtellina, Bormio is a paradise for mountain bikes with the long spacious high plains of Livigno and its rich lateral valleys, the wide basin of Cancano, that crosses the watershed between the south and the north of the Alps, passing through Engadina, the Val Viola that joins the Poschiavo Valley in Switzerland, the Val Lia, the Val Verva that descends into Val Grosina, la Valfurva and the Forni Valley. There are also numerous other runs through the Stelvio National Park together with the Swiss National Park.

MOUNTAIN BIKE BORMIO
Mountain biking is now a well-established sport and activity of our school. We will organize excursions and crossing for you, that will take you to extremely interesting naturalistic localities. Taking advantage of the surprising qualities of this bike, we try to start you off in the correct way in order to learn, improve and utilize your abilities to the maximum and give your useful advice to take up or to perfect this speciality.

Monday starts with 2 two-hour sessions, in which particular care will be taken regarding the technique of mountain biking. Tuesday is organized with an outing and a stop over for lunch in a mountain pasture. You can relax and recoup your strength on Wednesday - in fact, after a short 2-hour outing the rest of the day will be spent at the Thermal Baths of Bormio. Thursday morning you will be back on the saddle of your bike and in the afternoon you can enjoy yourselves by trying the thrill of climbing. Friday will be taken up with another excursion and then a barbecue.

ITINERARY :
Mule tracks, steep rises and descents and hair-pin bends at an altitude of 1,500 meters are only some of the trials you will have to pass. You will also have the possibility of appreciating the traditional hospitality of the people in the mountains in the shepherds huts and refuges. In a continuous passing of panorama and different terrains, you will follow the old footpaths, across bridges and through high mountains passes. The proposed itinerary has different levels of difficulty and therefore the groups will be divided into BASIC and ADVANCED. The national instructors take care of the in-depth study and knowledge but can also transform themselves into expert guides and will show you the little secrets of the mountains in absolute security.
