Bormio is both a summer and winter holiday resort and is protected by the Stelvio National Park that, in the summer, guarantees the possibility of excursions, trekking, golf and summer skiing on the slopes of the Passo dello Stelvio and, in the winter, the slopes and facilities offer skiing at the highest level. Its popular traditions, the Bormio Spa and its typical cuisine make it a unique locality.
The Hotel Vallechiara has an agreement with the Bormio Baths Spa Resort – the fitness spa, a dive into the history of well-being that has no age. The Bormio Spa is a mountain of well-being in the centre of Bormio.
Take a breath of history in the characteristic and evocative Old Roman Baths. The secular caves and the Roman Baths are a true dive into the past. More than 30 different thermal services are included with the entrance ticket: external panoramic swimming pool, old rocky cave, hydro massage bathtubs, saunas, muddy baths.
During the summer Bormio and its valleys offer numerous routes for mountain bike fans (recently expanded). For keener cyclists there is also the possibility of scaling the legendary mountains of Stelvio, Gavia, Mortirolo, Bemina, Foscagno. |

It's very convenient for those who take advantage of the school camp in the Hotel Vallechiara. The famous Pista Stelvio expands from here and is considered ideal for downhill racing and is more than 3 kms long. For those who love to admire the landscape and scenery in complete tranquility, there is the Bimbi Al Sole slope that is a good 6 kms longs. For those who want to learn or perfect their own style, the Anzi Ski School, in the Hotel Residence Vallechiara, proposes individual or group lessons and have a centre where the best makes of skis and snowboards may be rented. The Hotel bar and restaurant are available for a stop for lunch, a drink or simply to sunbathe in a warm and familiar environment.
